You can breastfeed and WIC can help!

The WIC Program and the American Academy of Pediatrics support breastfeeding as the preferred method of infant feeding during the first year of life.

Our staff provides education and support for those who want to breastfeed.

Our program offers the following help with breastfeeding:

Supplies:
Some women need supplies to assist with breastfeeding. We have supplies for common breastfeeding issues. We also have breast pumps for women who plan to return to work or school and continue exclusively breastfeeding their infant.

Nutritionists:
Our nutritionists are lactation educators as well as specialists for your nutritional needs. You can talk to them about concerns you have for you or your baby.

For more information on breastfeeding your baby or to be referred to a Peer Counselor, please call:
